El Ganzo Centro Comunitario project was created to build a bridge between the local children, visitors and artists through an interactive process of art, music and organic gardening free lessons.
It is of crucial importance that kids participate in the arts and recover healthy nutrition habits through gardening practices that will allow them to understand where their food comes from.
There is new space in La Playa provided by El Ganzo that is becoming an Art Center and permaculture garden where the local community can come together to explore endless creative opportunities to manifest the mind and the soul. El Ganzo is committed to the development of the local community as well as sustainability projects that preserve the environment.
Learning how to plant and harvest properly their own food increases sensitivity and all cognitive processes sharpen. This project has the potential of setting the example of what can be achieved when body, mind and spirit are nurtured. We foresee numerous benefits of exposing the local kids to Art, Music and permaculture.
Artist Francois Paris, kick started the first free art program at a local art gallery in La Playita resulting in a great success with the local children. Thanks to Alaia’s initial support and now Flora Farms ongoing contributions, Permaculture has also become a healthy lesson for kids to become aware of organic gardening.
Misael is from Chiapas and has been working at Floras Farms for the last 3 ½ years. He joined the team of El Ganzo Centro Comunitario last June
Sophia: After many years of travelling over the world and Mexico, Sophia moved to San Jose del Cabo a little over a year ago. She joined El Ganzo Centro Comunitario last December. Her philosophy is: “Ama la vida” Love your Life
Francois: From the suburbs of Paris to California, from here to there. Now living in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico, maybe this time, he will find his home port. To better caricaturize this artist would be a phoenix, many lives in one, reborn again and again.
